Revamp My Website
Visitors wanted more than project showcases, so I revamped my site with a Gin backend and new sections, making it easy to explore

I noticed that visitors to my website weren’t as interested in just seeing project showcases. Instead, they wanted to explore the content and discover more about what the site offered. They didn’t even turn on the volume to hear my background music 😅. So, I decided to revamp my website to focus on delivering valuable content, not just showcasing projects. My goal was to make it more informative and user friendly, giving visitors reasons to stay and explore.

To achieve this, I:

  • Added a backend framework using Gin for Golang, choosing it because it’s lightweight, fast, and more efficient than JavaScript-based alternatives.
  • Introduced new sections including “Experience”, “Articles”, and “Contact Me” to provide deeper insights into my work and thoughts.
  • Reorganized the website’s structure to make content easily accessible and appealing for visitors.

Now, visitors can explore meaningful sections beyond project showcases, making the site a hub for learning, insights, and connection. The revamp helped align the website with what people actually wanted to see.
